A month from now, you’ll wish you had started today!
1. DECIDE what products you want to sell.
• Art, music, photos?
2. WRITE and DESIGN your sales page.
Focus on what’s at stake for your potential customers!
3. START selling! Link from your sales page to a free checkout page, or use Stripe or PayPal plugins. Share your sales page on social media!
Start Selling Digital Products Online
A sales page should be the most compelling part of your website, and the place where you introduce your product to potential customers! This is where you really sell yourself. You’ll want to use as many words as possible, but make sure that they are spoken in a friendly tone so that they’re easy to understand.
First, sit down and write out what you want your sales page to say. Once you know what you’re going to write, get to work on making your design look beautiful. Then start testing! Test different headlines and images. Test different ways of describing the product or service you’re selling. In fact, just test everything!
Focusing on the Benefits for Your Customer
Once you have decided on your product, write a sales page focusing on the benefits for your customer. If you are selling a compost bin, what is the benefit of using your compost bin? What will they gain by using it? Give some examples of ways in which they can use it, and what it will help them achieve (e.g., they’ll have less waste going to landfill or save money).
You don’t need to be a designer or programmer to sell your own digital products. You just need basic tools and a little bit of knowledge. With this course, you can create your own sales pages like a pro, allowing you to sell more of whatever you want.
